Lake Strehlesee

Lake Strehlesee, in the middle of the Prendener Bauernheide, has its own unique charm. Its shimmering water beckons daytrippers from afar through the tree branches. Coming from the highway, you will find Lake Strehlesee on the left-hand side just before the entrance to Prenden. A popular place to fish and swim, this slightly sloping forested bathing area at the lake’s eastern shores is very busy in summer. In spring, meanwhile, countless lilies dance across its cool waters. Almost like a picture postcard!
