It’s an impressive building blending harmoniously into Wandlitz’s town centre. A product of the agricultural museum founded in the 1950s, this is a place where the history of Barnim and its people is told. From the Ice-Age wilderness to the modern cultural landscape, it ties in wonderfully with a joint exhibition. The fleet of historic tractors, the ‘Wild Barnim’ multimedia show, and a walkable map of the nature park are all particular treats for all those with a genuine interest in agriculture and nature. But that’s far from all, because the outdoor area also has a display garden and discovery path for nature lovers of all ages.
